Tucked just behind our shop, The Backspace is a cozy, thoughtfully curated space filled with Bella Vita vibes. Designed to host up to 20 guests, it’s ideal for birthdays, showers, team outings, private workshops, or intimate celebrations for ALL ages!
Bring your people (and your snacks), and we’ll provide the atmosphere that makes every gathering feel special.

Prefer to bring your own activity or host a community meeting? Book the space without facilitation and make it your own. - Optional add-on packages featuring local treats from our favorite downtown restaurants are available. We can work out those details once we get you booked.

When you choose a Bella Vita–led experience, your group may select from the following guided projects:

- All Bella Vita–led projects include instruction, tools, and materials unless otherwise noted. Project availability may vary based on group size, timing, and event length—we’ll help you choose the best fit during booking. Most projects can be kept within a 2 hour party.
Booking Details
- A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit secures your reservation and covers cleaning and resetting the room, trash removal, and the use of our kitchen.

A minimum of 8 projects/experiences is required to book a private event. Smaller groups are welcome and will be charged for the minimum but can double up on projects. Have a smaller group? We host parties of 2-4 in our Button Room. Call or text 501.454.2596 for more details on smaller groups!

What to expect:
The Backspace is a bit of a patchwork quilt. Nothing matches perfectly back there, and that’s part of the charm. Plates, glasses, and serving pieces are eclectic, collected, and well-loved — functional and creative rather than styled or uniform.
The space includes access to our full kitchen including:
- Assorted plates, glasses, mugs, and utensils
- Serving platters and basic serving pieces
- Water pitchers + cups.
- Various glassware.
- Paper towels and trash bags
- Basic cleaning supplies for quick wipe-downs
If you’re dreaming of a very specific aesthetic or specialty serving items, you’re welcome to bring anything extra you’d like. Otherwise, we invite you to embrace the casual, creative vibe — it’s what makes gatherings here feel relaxed and special.
Private Party Policies
Cancellations
- Deposits are refundable up to 14 days before your event
- Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, but may be applied to a future date (pending availability)
Timing
- Event length depends on group size and whether Bella Vita is leading the activity. Example: a group of 8 participating in a Bella Vita–led craft typically schedules a 2-hour event
- Timing is finalized during booking to ensure a relaxed, enjoyable pace
Food & Drink
- Outside food and beverages are welcome
- Alcohol is permitted for private events; hosts are responsible for following local laws and ensuring all guests are 21+
Decor & Setup
- Decorations and personal touches are welcome
- Please avoid anything permanent—use painter’s tape or Command hooks if needed. There is a clothesline rope you can hang banners from!
- Hosts may arrive up to 30 minutes early for setup unless otherwise arranged
Clean-Up
- We handle the deep clean. Just rinse dishes and load the dishwasher!
- Guests are asked to dispose of trash and leave the space as they found it
- A $50 cleaning and reset fee is included with every event
- Additional fees may apply if significant extra cleaning is required
Damage & Liability
- The host is responsible for any damage to the space or furnishings
- A quick walk-through is completed before and after each event
