Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order ship? All of our items are handmade and most of them are hand made to order meaning they are not made until you place the order. Normally your order will ship within 1-3 business days, but it could take as long as 7 - 10 business days depending on our work load at the time. If you need your order shipped more quickly, just call or email us to see if we can accommodate shipping it out right away. Again, some things we keep stocked and some things we make to order. We are happy to accommodate you if we can. Also, be aware that we are closed on Sunday and Monday, so if you place your order on one of those days, it will be fulfilled once our staff is back in the shop on Tuesday.

Can I pick up my order in your store? Yes! Picking up your online order at our Downtown Little Rock location will save you on shipping charges, so just select the "In Store Pickup" option for shipping when you check out.  We will call you when you order is ready to pick up.  It can usually be made that day, but some orders take more time to make so make sure to give us time to pull or make the jewelry before arriving at the shop to pick up your order.  Also, be aware that we are closed on Sunday and Monday, so if you place your order on one of those days, it will be fulfilled once our staff is back in the shop on Tuesday.

How do I care for my jewelry? There are lots of ways to care for your jewelry! First and foremost, keep your jewelry out of humid areas when you are not wearing it. Metal hates humidity, drill that in your brain, and don't forget it. Whatever you do, don't store your jewelry in the bathroom. Next, Keep your brass jewelry dry if possible, brass will tarnish if it is exposed to water. If you insist on wearing your jewelry without ever taking it off, let us know and we will set you up with a polish cloth...

Inevitably, however, no matter how hard you try to keep your brass jewelry dry, it will tarnish over time. To clean flat surfaces or jewelry that has detail you don’t want to disturb, like stampings, buff the piece with a jewelry polishing cloth, or use extra fine steel wool available at any hardware store. And, remember, everyone's body chemistry is different and your chemical makeup is the main culprit in how your jewelry is going to perform. If you are having problems with your jewelry we want to know! We will work with you to find a metal solution that works with your body chemistry/lifestyle. 

If all else fails, just bring it to our shop or ship it to us, or find us at a show and we will be happy to help you clean it!

Are the metal cuff bracelets one size fits all? Yes! Our cuff bracelets are hand stamped, then bent into the cuff shape, so the metal is malleable enough that it should fit to most adult wrists. 

When you receive your cuff bracelet, make sure you fit the bracelet snuggly to your wrist.  Slide the cuff on at the soft spot of your wrist (do not bend the cuff open), then tighten the cuff with your hand.  To ensure that you have a tight fit and that the cuff won't fall off, make sure that the opening in the cuff is smaller than the soft spot of your wrist.  The opening of the cuff should remain on the inside of your wrist, so one way to tell that you have a proper fit is that the cuff doesn't twist around sideways on it's own. 

What is your return/exchange policy?  If for some reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it for store credit or an exchange within 7 days of your ship date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and an Return Authorization (RA) number. Please do not send your purchase back without a RA number. An RA number can be obtained by emailing us,

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will process the store credit or the exchange and send you documentation.

Where do I ship a return/exchange item?  To return your product, you should mail your product to: 108 W. 6th St, Suite A, Little Rock, Arkansas US 72201

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Are sale items eligible for return/exchange? Only regular priced items may be refunded for store credit, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Do you accept custom orders? Custom orders are very welcome but must be paid for in advance of production. Custom orders are NOT eligible for returns/exchanges.  If you have any questions at all, please email us at

What do the abbreviations on your product descriptions mean? AGP - Antique Gold Plated. SP - Silver Plated. GP - Gold Plated. SS - Sterling Silver. 14k GF - 14 Karat Gold Filled.

When is your brick and mortar store open?  The Bella Vita Shop is located in downtown Little Rock, AR. We are open Tuesday - Friday 11 - 5:30 and Saturday 10 - 4, or by appointment. We are also open until 8pm on the second Friday of every month. And, we have extended hours for certain holidays like Valentines Day, Moms Day, and Christmas. We always post our extended hours on our social media.
