Location: Bella Vita Jewelry, Downtown Little Rock
Employment Type: Part-Time (Tuesdays - Fridays, 10:30 -  6 and  2 Saturdays per month 9:30 - 4:30)

Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store from opening to closing. This role includes managing daily tasks, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for jewelry and gifts and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store each day, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Complete the opening and closing lists daily.
  • Receive projects from production and complete them as time allows.
  • Guide retail support staff in various tasks to keep the store tidy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases and inquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered in the store.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing products.
  • Assist with merchandising and displays.
  • Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Participate in store events and promotions as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous retail experience preferred, especially in a boutique or jewelry store setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for handling sales transactions, inventory management, and social media.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with handcrafted or artisan products.
  • Knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, and minerals.
  • Creative skills or interest in jewelry making.

Compensation:

  • $15 per hour with commissions, bonuses, and raises + employee discounts.
