This week, I'll be packing up a little piece of Bella Vita and heading to New York City for Spotlight.
If you've never heard of Spotlight before, it's one of my favorite wholesale shows. Unlike the giant gift markets I used to do, Spotlight is a thoughtfully curated collection of independent artists and makers gathered together for one day. It creates space for real conversations, meaningful connections, and the kind of relationships that independent businesses are built on.
Over the past few weeks, you've been following along as I've been working on new collections, digging through vintage treasures, and spending long days in the studio. Now it's finally time to pack it all up and share it with retailers from around the country.
This year feels especially exciting because I'm bringing brand new designs that haven't even made it to social media yet, along with the debut of my new Keepsake Collection.
Lately, I've been doing a lot of thinking about what Bella Vita has become. Somewhere along the way, I realized I've spent nearly two decades building a palette of discoveries—vintage treasures, artisan partnerships, meaningful symbols, and timeless materials that slowly find their way into each collection.
That's the story I'm bringing with me to New York.
Not just new jewelry, but the discoveries behind it.
The wholesale world has changed so much over the past fifteen years. Buyers move into new roles, curators discover new museums, wonderful shops open while others close, and every market introduces me to someone I never would have met otherwise. It's one of the things I still love most about this industry.
